The CEREC machine can create  a tooth colored ceramic filling, inlay, onlay and crown.In a single visit, a large filing can be removed and replaced, without the need for impressions.

Cerec restorations are constructed using CAD-CAM technology involving 3-D photographs and sophisticated computer design. A robotic milling unit shapes the designed restoration out of a porcelain block ready for cementation.
