SIGNS OF GUM DISEASE

 -bleeding, red ,swollen, tender gums
-bad breath
-gums pulling away from the tooth
-loose teeth
-pus discharge and abscess around the gumline

These can often be a sign of gum disease. Records are taken to determine if the the gum disease is in its early or advanced stages enabling suitable treatment selection.
Smoking and diabetes, some medical treatments and medications may also lead to, or enhance, gum disease.
